DARKSIDE - A1

Last night a few of us went to “dine in the dark” at the restaurant O. Noir here in Toronto. The concept of the restaurant is to heighten your senses by dining completely in the dark, while the entire wait staff is blind.
We ordered upon arrival, and then we were led into a pitch black room linked at the shoulders to our table. Cell phones had to be turned off, watches turned down, and anything with light had to be covered up. We all felt rather dizzy at first as we adjusted. There were four other tables in the room, but all you could hear was conversation.
Our waiter brought over our drinks, and right away we had our first accident- my friend spilled his wine, broke the glass, and spilled it all over the person across. As our food came we all had a hard time finding our cutlery and getting the food to our mouths. We all at some point ended up eating with our hands, it was hilarious.
The food was good and the service was great. We all laughed a ton and had a great time. Check this place out if you are in Toronto, it is definitely an experience.
I’m loving Toronto!

I’ve been sick in bed all week, but I saw this my first day here before the devil came!
